Course Description

Ideal for those seeking to take their career in Accountancy and finance to the next level, this professional qualification covers a range of complex accounting tasks, including maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns, as well as spreadsheet skills for accounting.

What will you learn?

*Financial processes including accounting principles and concepts, advanced bookkeeping and final accounts.
*Understand business issues regarding value added tax (VAT), which may be known by another name in other countries)
*Business, management accounting costing techniques and ethical practices for accountants.
*Spreadsheet training for accounting
*Identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to complete tasks and address problems that are well defined and complex
*How to use skills and judgement within limited parameters, such as awareness of different perspectives or approaches within an area of study or work.

How will the course be taught?

This qualification is taught over approx. 30 weeks for daytime classes & 47 weeks for evenings (term time only) with 6 units and five end of Unit assessments

*Advanced Bookkeeping
*Final Accounts Preparation
*Management Accounting: Costing
*Indirect Tax
*Ethics for Accountants
*Spreadsheets for Accounting.
