All of our Community Learning "leisure & pleasure" courses are partly subsidised by the Education & Skills Funding Agency, a central government agency that is responsible for funding schools as well as adult learning. This means that we can charge a very low full fee of £5.50 per hour and offer a concessionary rate of £2.20 per hour for any learners that are in receipt of a means tested state benefit.
There is no qualification for this course.
All of the courses that we run and are available for you to apply for are advertised on our website: https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/education-and-learning/adult-learning/courses
The easiest route for you to apply for a course is online. If this is your first time applying then you need to set up an account, otherwise you can simply log in using your email address or learner reference number and your password.
For Leisurestream and Community Learning courses you can enrol yourself directly onto the course and make your payment using a debit or credit card.
For our English and maths courses you can enrol yourself online onto the course and no payment is required as these are generally free. Once you have enrolled onto the course the tutor will be in touch with you to discuss the course and to give you the joining instructions.
For qualification courses you can apply online and we will invite you to attend a pre-course information session. At this session one of our tutors will discuss the course with you and make sure that it is exactly what you are expecting and make sure that you will get the outcome you want.
